There was a surprise result when eleventh ranked Strakonice (4-12) beat at home higher ranked Sokol Nusle (9-7) 65-53 on Sunday. Strakonice forced 24 Sokol Nusle turnovers. The winners were led by point guard Karolina Hauserova (171-2004) who scored that evening 17 points and forward Adela Junkova (178-2004) supported her with 7 points and 8 rebounds. Even 11 points and 5 rebounds by center Tereza Barnetova (187-1992) did not help to save the game for Sokol Nusle. Guard Tereza Vojtova (173-2004) added 9 points and 8 rebounds for the guests. Strakonice maintains eleventh position with 4-12 record. Loser Sokol Nusle keeps the fourth place with seven games lost. They share the position with 3 other teams. Strakonice will meet higher ranked USK Praha B (#9) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Sokol Nusle will play against Brno B (#7) and hope to secure a win.
